Tuscany Sea of Etruscan Coast
The coastline along the province of Livorno is characterised by the alternating steep cliffs dropping into the sea and long stretches of fine white sandy beaches. Inland the vegetation is typically Mediterranean with its natural wild-life where it is not unusual to catch a glimpse of deer, boar, foxes and other wildlife species.

The attractive medieval town Castagneto Carducci, where the poet Giosuč Carducci lived, dominates this splendid panorama, a meeting point for culture, art and ancient traditions.
